The fine print, in plain words
How does the free trial work?
Nouma Plus starts with 7 days free. If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, the subscription you picked begins — $4.99/month or $39.99/year. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Payment is handled by Apple as an App Store subscription, so you cancel in your iPhone’s Settings → your name → Subscriptions, at any time. You keep Plus until the end of the period you paid for.
Do I need an account?
Not for tracking: the app works fully offline without one. A free account adds backup and sync across your devices, and it is required for Ask, the sleep plan made by AI and sharing, because those run on our servers. Sign in with Apple, Google or a 6-digit email code.
Does household sharing need a subscription?
Inviting caregivers requires an active Nouma Plus subscription on the account that owns the household. Joining is free: a caregiver only needs a Nouma account to enter the code, and they see the baby’s profile and log for that baby with it. A subscription is never shared, with one exception: the five-day sleep plan made by AI belongs to the baby, so a caregiver sees it for the babies shared with them. Everything else in Plus, like Ask, the full sound library and the lessons, takes the caregiver’s own Nouma Plus. A caregiver who joins keeps their own babies too. There is no limit on how many caregivers you invite.
What happens if I never pay?
The core app is free forever: tracking, predictions, core sounds, the first month of lessons, charts and PDF shares all keep working — offline, with or without an account. Nothing you logged is ever held back.
